What to expect during your session

Sports or remedial massage

If you’re booked in for a sports or remedial massage, during our first meeting I will complete an FREE 20 minute consultation which will include a postural analysis, range of motion assessment and visual and manual evaluation of your area of pain or discomfort. This will help me to plan a treatment and course of care specific to your needs.

During your treatment I will focus on the body areas that are aggravating you and will use a combination of advanced massage techniques to best address your issues. Treatments will vary greatly from person to person as they are completely personalised. I will also give home advice where necessary to enhance rehabilitation and reduce risk of future injury. Please wear shorts/vest top/sports bra for the assessment.

Holistic massage

If you’re booked in for a holistic massage, we will have a pre-treatment discussion about what you would like to achieve from our session and I will devise a treatment to best calm your body and mind.

“I was treated by Caroline after struggling on with a hip problem while running for a number of months. One session and she had completely relieved the tightness and most of the discomfort that I was feeling day to day. She’s extremely knowledgeable and reassuring and since the treatment I’ve felt so much better and am exercising pain-free again.”
